It all began in 2017, in the small yet vibrant city of Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia.
Driven by a love for tempeh—Indonesia’s traditional fermented soybean superfood—we started Tempe King as a humble home kitchen project. Our vision was simple yet ambitious: transform tempeh into a globally recognized, healthy, and delicious snack.

What began with small batches for local markets has grown into a dedicated manufacturing facility with export-ready capabilities, serving customers in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Belgium, and Switzerland.
